These terms apply whenever you use the site; using it means you accept them.

What the calculators give you

Estimates for planning a roofing job: roof area, quantities of materials and cost ranges, worked out from the measurements you type and from the assumptions shown on each page. They are general guidance, not professional advice of any kind, whether engineering, legal, financial or other. Check them with a qualified professional and against the rules that apply where you live before you rely on them.

What they are not

Quantities and cost ranges come from manufacturer coverage figures and published cost surveys with their source and date. They are planning figures, not a survey, a structural assessment, a quote or a specification: measure the roof, follow the product data sheet and the local building code, and use a licensed roofer for the work. Working on a roof is dangerous; nothing here is safety guidance.

Each published figure we use is shown with its source and the date we read it (the method is on how we check). Manufacturers and cost guides change their figures, and we cannot promise that a source is still current on the day you read it. Checking a figure before you act on it is up to you.

Buying Pro

Paid features are sold by Stripe (Managed Payments), our merchant of record, under Stripe's terms of sale. If something is ever sold as early access, its delivery date is printed next to the pay button. Our refund policy applies to every purchase.

Fair use

Use the site for its purpose. Do not try to disrupt it, copy it at scale with automated tools, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access that harms the service or other visitors.

Liability

We provide the site as it is. As far as the law allows, Softmed Labs SRL is not liable for losses that result from relying on the results or from the site being unavailable. These terms do not limit any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; when we do, the date at the top changes. The terms are governed by the laws of Romania. That does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
