The installed cost range for your material, low and high, with the cost guide and its year printed next to it.
Print, PDF or Excel
The browser prints it or saves it as PDF; the Excel file has the sections, the materials, the estimate and the sources on four sheets. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do the numbers come from?
- From you and from the manufacturer figures. The calculators start with coverage figures read from data sheets and cost ranges from published guides (each shown with its source and date) and you overwrite them with your own roof sections, choices and prices. The sheet recomputes exactly what you saved in this browser, with the same maths as the free pages; nothing is fetched live.
- Is this a roof survey or a quote?
- No. It is a planning list: quantities from the plan size and pitch you typed, rounded up to what you buy, and a cost range from a published guide. The roofer measures the roof, checks the deck and the flashings, and quotes; the data sheet of the product you buy decides the fixing and the minimum pitch.
- Is anything stored on a server?
- No. The sections, the choices, the sheet title and the sheet itself live in this browser only; the print and the Excel file are made there too. The one thing that leaves your device is the email you type at checkout, which Stripe uses for the receipt and which lets you reopen Pro on another device.
- Can I get a refund?
- Pro opens the moment you pay. If it does not do what this page says, write within 14 days and you get a full refund. The monthly plan renews until you cancel it from the Manage subscription link (the Stripe customer portal); the lifetime plan is paid once and stays open for good. Details on the refund policy page.
- What if I have not used the calculators yet?
- Use the shingle calculator or the tile calculator first: each keeps the roof sections and your choices in this browser, so the sheet shows a link to them until one has been used; the preview on this page then shows your own sections and area.
